Ronald A. Maxwell
Ronnie Maxwell is a South Carolina native and graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law. Ronnie Maxwell organized the Maxwell Law Firm in 1992 in Aiken, and his efforts to best represent his clients led to the opening of a second office in North Augusta in 1995. He was born in Greenville in 1951, and has been a member of the Aiken community since 1976. Ronnie is the father of three children: Allen, Ryan and Lindsey. He is a proud member of the community and serves as a staunch advocate for his client's legal rights in their personal injury, workers’ compensation or wrongful death claims. With over 30 years of experience litigating cases at all levels of the state and federal courts, Ronnie Maxwell has earned a long record of successful settlements, the respect of his peers and numerous referrals from appreciative clients.

Christy Chapman Tyner
Christy Tyner is an Aiken native and graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law, joining the Maxwell Law Firm as an associate attorney in 2005. She is married to Richie Tyner of Barnwell and has 1 daughter, Allie. Christy Tyner practices in the area of general tort law, representing individuals who suffered injuries because of automobile accidents, slip and falls, caused by defective products and dog bites. She is an advocate for all of her clients and works hard to see that their interests are protected. Christy Tyner is an active member of the community and enjoys giving back to the community.

Jeanne M. Townes
Associate
Jeanne Townes is an Aiken native and joined the Maxwell Law Firm in 2006, as an associate attorney. A member of the South Carolina Bar, Jeanne Townes is admitted to practice in both state and federal court in South Carolina. She earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2005 as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications, magna cum laude, from University of South Carolina in 2002. Jeanne Townes practices in the areas of workers’ compensation/on the job injuries and tort litigation. Her focus is on helping individuals who were injured while working, and seeing that they receive all benefits they are entitled to under the law. She is currently a member of South Carolina Association of Justice as well as the South Carolina Association of Injured Workers’ Advocates.

Melody Bruder is originally from Aiken, however, North Augusta has been home for approximately 30 years. Melody Bruder began working with the Maxwell Law Firm in 1995, in the North Augusta Office. Melody serves as a litigation and worker’s comp. paralegal.
Jessica Brumfield is a native of South Carolina. She is married to Jeremy Brumfield and has one son. Jessica Brumfield received her certificate in Paralegal Studies from the University of South Carolina in 1997, and has been working at the Maxwell Law Firm since 2001. Jessica serves as a litigation paralegal.
Patty Bryant was born in Aiken, South Carolina, but lived the first thirteen years of her life traveling around the world with her family, as her dad was a career military man. She is married to Jimmy Bryant and has one daughter. Patty serves as our office manager and workers' compensation paralegal. She has twenty-seven years of legal experience. She began working for Ronnie Maxwell in June of 1982, at Lybrand, Rich, Cain and Simons Law Firm. They joined the Johnson Law Firm later that year and then the Maxwell Law Firm was formed in January of 1992. She is a past president of the Aiken County Legal Professionals Association. She is an active member of Christian Heritage Church where she serves as a Trustee and in various other positions.
Patty Clarke has been a member of the Aiken Community since 1975, when she married Randy Clarke. She was born in Chicago, Illinois, and resided there until her family moved to Edgefield, South Carolina. She began working at the Maxwell Law Firm in 1992. Patty Clarke received her paralegal degree in July of 1997 from the Professional Career Development Institute and served as a past member or the Aiken County Legal Professionals Association, Patty serves as a litigation paralegal. She is a member of Cedar Creek Church.
Brenda Davis is a native of South Carolina and has worked at the Maxwell Law Firm since 1992. Brenda Davis is a medical secretary in our Aiken office. She accumulates and evaluates medical bills and medical records for personal injury clients.
Allen Maxwell is a native of Aiken, and presently resides in North Augusta, South Carolina. He has worked at the Maxwell Law Firm since 2003, and has experience in many aspects of the legal field, as he is a former employee of the South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association.
